What time does the tournament start?

8:00 AM - 5th-8th grade divisions will play first, followed by HS, and then the Open Divisions.
Who do I make my check out to?

When is the deadline to sign up?

Wednesday, July 30th, 2025.
When will I know what time I play on August 2nd?

The tournament schedule will be posted on the schedule page on Thursday, July 31st at 6:00 pm.
What is the registration fee?

$90 per team
Are there refs for this tournament?
-
Yes, there will be refs for the 5th-6th grade and 7th-8th grade divisions (possibly 9th-10th grade divisions as well). The high school and open adult divisions will call their own game.
Where is the tournament at?
-
The tournament will take place on the outside courts of Forreston High School directly west of the Forreston Junior/Senior High Parking Lot.
What if it rains the day of the tournament?
-
We will play in the rain if necessary. If needed due to inclement weather, we will move the tournament to inside gymnasium of Forreston High School.
How many players can be on my team?
-
Max team size is 4. You can have one sub on your team that may sub into the game on dead balls.
How do we keep score?
-
Each court will have an official score keeper/court monitor for each game.
How do I sponsor the event?

How are divisions split?

Divisions will be split by age group but may be combined if necessary. If there are enough teams in each age group, divisions will be split as follows:

Girls: 5th-6th, 7th-8th, 9th-10th, 11th-12th, Open Adult Women, 35+ Open Women

Boys: 5th-6th, 7th-8th, 9th-10th, 11th-12th, Open Adult Men, 35+ Open Men

Do we need a team name?

Yes. (Please keep appropriate)
Will there be refreshments?
-
Yes. The Forreston Sports Boosters will be hosting a concession stand with food and drinks during the entirety of the tournament.
Does my team need to bring a basketball?
-
All players participating in the tournament are welcome to bring their own basketball; however, this is not needed.
Does each team have to wear the same color?
-
No but it is recommended.
What does my team get if we win?
-
The tournament champion in each division will receive a trophy for each participant on the team and 2nd and 3rd place will receive medals.
What do I get for participating in the tournament?
-
All participating players will receive a tournament t-shirt and a blue for Drew basketball for playing.
