Welcome 3 on 3 Basketball Fans!

The Forreston Sauerkraut Days hosted its' 7th Annual 3 on 3 basketball tournament in 2022. Teams from near and far came out to play on one of the hottest days of the summer. A record of 52 squads showcased their talents in age divisions ranging from 5th grade to 35+ year old brackets. The Forreston Sauerkraut Days looks forward to hosting the 8th Annual Drew Crase Memorial 3 on 3 Basketball Tournament and 3 Point Contest on Saturday, August 5th, 2023.

In 2023, Forreston will hold its' 8th consecutive 3 on 3 basketball tournament. Forreston Sauerkraut Days will host the tournament for men and women from ages 5th Grade through Adult 35 & Older. Men’s and Women’s age brackets will be on the menu as well as the 3 point shooting contest. All skill levels are welcome to compete in the tournament as it is in memory and as a tribute to our friend, teammate, and brother Drew Crase. Drew loved basketball and liked to play in 3 on 3’s regularly during the summer times. No matter the competitive outcome of play, the tournament will be fun for all as Drew would of liked it to have been.

Brackets will be finalized the week of the tournament and team captains will be contacted with the start time of their first game. Each division bracket will be setup for a double elimination tournament. All players registered on a team for the day will receive a t-shirt and basketball. The winners of each bracket will receive a first place trophy.

​

Concession stands will be open throughout the whole day with drinks and food. Our vision is to bring players and fans in the community and surrounding areas together to witness a fun filled day of basketball in memory of Drew.
